I found this one at rubbermaid. I am sure if you gave them a call you'd be
able to get one from them. Not a huge range of selections in colour I am
afraid. It is the same basic dimensions as mine.

As for "slightly windy" landings you do in kansas, I can tell you that a
trash can may not be the most enjoyable ride for those. Here in Australia I
have put my trash can in for a few quite speedy landings now of 10kts or
above and it isn't the most pleasant feeling. You have to remember that if
you smack a trash can in a bit hard, your legs take the shock. There is
very little give in the plastic. Having said that, they will stand up to a
hell of a beating.
It is still great fun being able to roll in for a landing through a field on
the wheels! Just make sure that the balloon you build has some way of
rotating, because 10kts landing on the wheels is fun, but trying to stop is
a bit difficult (unless of course you put some brakes on it, heh heh heh).
Don't worry about the grades too much as the bin is supported by the
suspension wires running under the bin. The plastic on the bin is just to
stop you falling out.
Cheers
Adam
