Question, for those of you who do fly the
garbage-bin way, how did you go about acquiring your carriage?
Stealthily, after dark on a shadowy, quiet, tree-lined residential
street, with a pickup truck after I got off of work delivering
pizzas... Picked out the emptiest/newest-looking bin on the block and
had an intense multiple bleaching/washing session the next day.
Drilled a few holes in it, swaged some cables, added a plywood floor
insert and some U-bolts to secure the load cables from slipping...
Voila! - Instant balloon basket.
I don't think they'll ever know what happened to their beloved
recycling bin. I can't even remember which house it was. All I know is
that it happened more than six years ago, which, by the statute of
limitations, allows me to disclose the actions required to acquire my
bin without risking prosecution :)
Needless to say, you should try to be extremely careful if exercising
this avenue of acquisition.
