placard. So then I put in slightly smaller letters âFAAâ in a line
above and at the start of âExperimentalâ and then âCategoryâ
in a line below  the âExperimentalâ and justified to the right.Â
FAA inspectors have balked at it but could not find any reason to prevent it.Â
The general public apparently finds it satisfies their concernâ¦

Â
The tetra-hopper is coming along nicely and I have reached
the point where I need some help.
Â
As we all know, experimental catagory aircraft need to say
"Experimental" on them. At one point I read where and how the
lettering needed to be affixed to the aircraft, but I can't seem to locate it
just now.
Â
Can anyone steer me toward the rules regarding the size and
placement of the lettering?
Â
Thanks, and....
Â
Good Floating!
