Greg,
Looking forward to the photos and story. It really grew in its second year =
! I hope all had fun and everyone finally dried out. Splashing and dashing =
seems to be a recurrent theme in these XLTA gatherings ( remember Noahs' lo=
st sock this year). I wish I could have been there.
Fly safe,
Curtis =

Subject: [Balloon-makers] XLTA - Seattle recap

Here is a summary of the weekend. =

  18 Crew
  8 Pilots
  5 Balloons (including 3 hoppers)
3 Flights (including my first flight in my Lindstrand hopper)
  2 Tethers
  1 Seminar on homebuilding
  1 Blue Angels performance
1 Very wet pilot after a splash 'n dash in the Green River

The weather was a mixed bag, definitely less than it could have been. We=
did manage to fly Saturday morning, but the ceiling was too low to fly leg=
ally Sunday. Instead we tethered. I think everyone who lived within a mil=
e got a ride in the hoppers.

  We're go for hosting XLTA-Seattle 3 next year - August 1-3, 2008.

I'll be preparing amore detailed article for the Cloudhopper newsletter, =
complete with photographs.

  Good Floating!

  Greg
