Hi Kasey and others..
The HP II that I use works well..
I use it on a bicycle rim.. But I suggest you put an additional set of
springs.
each connection point on the ring will have 2 springs, one goes Horizontal
to the burner, the other at a 45 degree down to the burner can.
I find that this will correct any extra top heavy movment, and the blast
valve body is used for dirrection......
have fun...
I have not been on the list for some time???
I was with out my computer and HOME..
Now I have a nice big ware house and a new home attached....the house part
will be ready in a few weeks then I can set of the SHOP...
I hope every one had a great Holiday season.
Wild Bil EH!!!
NO snow or cold this winter..
But I am in the process of building a erupting volcano for the
winterlude..1st three weeks of Feb.

Subject: [balloon-makers] HPII Burner for hopper?

Greetings!
I'm about half-way through assembling panels into gores now, and with the
sewing machine in the repair shop, I will hopefully be up and running again
around the beginning of next week.
I have the chance to purchase an Aerostar HPII single burner locally for
about $100 to use on my 32k. My question is would this burner be over-kill
for a hopper? I dont want to pass it up if not. My only concern other than
that is how to mount it to a non-Aerostar frame. Perhaps going the Boland
bicycle-rim route and take the burner out of its current frame and adding
springs like the t-3?
Best wishes to all,
Kasey
