That is what they make a thing called a magnifying glass. I used to keep on=
e by the sewing machine all the time. I took the thing to work and it now t=
akes 4 or 5 tries to get the thread through the needle.
Buy yourself a magnifier with a light on it as start sewing. (or you can se=
nd the panels to me, I always wanted a hopper...)

Yes, We can all dream can't we?

Half of the fun of balloon building is the planning and contriving.

I have a neat 25,000 cu ft all cut out for several years and haven't gott=
en it assembled, but I can still think about it. The needles are so hard t=
o thread - Hmm, suppose that is why I like big type? (Doesn't take up much=
band width I guess. ) So I can live it all again through you guy's progre=
ss.

   =

  So keep the list going.

P.S. The post about burner: make your own, but use copper coils - for ma=
ny reasons. Or invent the silent burner - that can be done, too, and you'l=
l make a place in balloon history. (I think silent burners would not help =
the sport.(ever think if stack car races with mufflers?) dp

I don't know if the list is still needed, but I have enjoyed being subscr=
ibed to it. I hope that it is still wanted. I still plan to build my own ba=
lloon. Just not been the right time economically. So, in the interest of un=
ending hope of possibly sometime in the near and/or distant future of maybe=
building a balloon (or not), I vote to keep the list going. But, if no one=
wants to keep it going, I'll understand as well.

  Happy sewing to everyone,

  Tom

PS: I think this is my second post here since joining the list years ago.=
Maybe I need to find a new ambition...

Yes, Nigel, the list has been very quiet. I hope everyone is busy on

their individual projects. I was delighted to see the article on the

open source balloon project in the current issue of Ballooning. I would

like to know if people think this list is still needed and want to see

  it continue. Thanks.
