Can't you put in a turning vent yourself?

 

I would use one vertical slit like Yost's original Hoo-Hoo, but put two
separate lines on it.   (Instead of one line leading to a split.) Locate it
on a Boland where there are parallel vertical wrinkles.  That shouldn't be
hard to find.  Add a little internal lip on each side.  In some cases you
might want to tension the lips with bungee.

 

When you pull down on one cord at the center of one lip, you not only pull
down, but also in which makes that side retreat in the rotational manner.
(No need for all the complicated systems you see today.)
