I have had good success when sewing the large
hook "heavy duty" velcro using tissue paper ( white wrapping paper ) then
tearing the paper off. This works well if you are using wide spaced stitches (
fewer stitches per inch ). The paper will get stuck with a tight small stitch
and is a hassle to remove. Hope this helps in someway.

Subject: [balloon-makers] Sewing on
I have a Singer
112W140, and am having trouble with the threads shredding while sewing on
the hook side of Velcro.
Any ideas how to
help with this problem?
