Keith -

Did you cut all #2 panels at once, or were you cutting one layer of fabric
at a time?  I've used the cutting mats and rotary razor blade for some model
balloon projects.  It really speeds things up.  It's quite accurate too.
But due to the tight tolerance in a model, I only cut one panel at a time.

Keith (and others),

Can you desribe the construction of your cutting table? sawhorses and
particle board? temporary or fixed? etc...

Just looking for other ideas. I don't know if I can spend an entire weekend
on my knees on concrete again when Phil decides to build a new balloon.
